Khechari Mudra
Khechari means who can move in space. This Mudra can be learned only through an experienced expert guru who has already perfected it. It is difficult to master this Mudra. A qualified yogi cuts the lower tendon of tongue of the yogi with a hygienic sharp blade. The cutting of the edges of tendon is done regularly massaged like the milking of the cow. By a regular practice the toungue is elongate ed so that its is able to touch the space between the eyebrows.
Sit on your asana. Touch the palate with your tongue and close the posterior nasal opening with the reversed tongue and fix your gaze on the Aggyia Chakra. It will activate the prana to flow in the Sushumana Nadi. By this way the tongue reaches the mouth of the well of nectar.
Although Khechari Mudra is said to be very useful, but I will not advise it, for all the aspirants, as it involves a risk of the damage of cutting the tendon of the tongue. You may avoid it and concentrate on others, which are equally useful.
