  1. Yama : A yogi should observe his moral code of conduct and restraint himself from its violation, this is known as Yama. A yogi should be observe the rules like : non violence, truth, honesty, brahmacharya or celibacy, forgiveness, composure, mercy or sympathy , dieter, regular defocate. The yogi should be developed and follows some good habit like : contentment, purity of thought, Tap, Santosh, Astikya, Daan, Pooja,  shrwan, hate from bad work, bhakti, jap, hut or hawan etc.
  3. Asanas : A yogi should be practice regularly different kinds of yog – asanas and some light exercises.These asanas promote and facilitate the flow of life energy in different parts of the body organs. Asanas keeps our body free from diseases, healthy and fit to meditate for a long time.
  4. Pranayam : The science of willful control of reception, expense and distribution of the cosmic life energy, through the control of breath is known as Pranayam. By pranayama the aspirant or yogi is able to dis-connect his mind from his five sense organs and whole of his physical body .pranayama is pyrifies our body all organs , nervous system and ethereal body .
  5. Pratyahara : The withdrawal of  our consciousness from the outer physical world and to cut off its connection from five sense from the mind and of the physical body is known as pratyahara. Our awareness is turned inward away from the distraction of the five enchanting senses.The mind turns toward higher inner spiritual states of consciousness. Such a state of higher consciousness is known as Pratyahara.
  6. Dharana : Dharana means continuous concentration on a single thought. Thousands of stray unwanted thoughts always distract our mind from our goal. By regular practice a yogi is able to fix his mind for a long time on a single object or a thought and turn away all other stray thoughts which distract his mind.When yogi concentrate his mind on God or  any one target that time some stray thought comes to his mind then he let it go away and just ignored these stray thoughts without any struggle of his mind , these types  activity of mind is called as Dharana.
  7. Dhyana : When  a Yogi is in posture of Dharana in a long time or in the state of dharana mind is fixed on a single thought or thought of God for a long time without any distract then his mind becomes peaceful free from all kinds of thought and distractions without any sense of  any type ego is called dhyana. During the position of dhyana or meditation the yogi forgets his body and all types of physical and thoughts activities with mind awareness. Yogi and Maharshi advises us that kriya yoga should  meditate upon God and the all- permeating omni sound of Aum.
  8. Samadhi : When the Yogi’s ego “I” merges with God or transcendence of his soul consciousness with cosmic consciousness , it is called Samadhi. In this state of higher consciousness there are extraordinary subtle experiences of subtle worlds. This is the state of Ananda or eternal bliss & joy and yogi is in communion with God. This position is very joyful that the yogi want to remain in this state forever.He becomes free from all kinds of worldly sorrows & desires.
