Agastya :
Agast-rishi
Agastya is the reputed author of several hymns in the Rig- Veda and a very celebrated personage . The Puranas  represent him as being the son of Pulastya , the sage from whom the Rakshasas sprang . Agastya is derived from a forced etymology in a fable, which represents him as having commanded the Vindhya Mountains to prostrate before him . Hence he is also called Vindhya Kuta. He is one of the writers of the Brahma Purana and also a writer on
medicine . He holds a distinguished place in the Ramayana , where he dwelt in a hermitage on Mount Kunjara as chief of the hermits of the south . He extended kindness to Lord Rama in exile and went on to become his friend, advisor and protector . He is also said to have gifted the bow of  Vishnu to Rama . He is also considered the first teacher of science and literature to the primitive Dravidian tribes . Hence they venerate him .

  3. Keep up the good work, I read few articles on this site and I think that your web blog is rattling interesting and contains bands of good information.

  4. I have got 1 suggestion for your weblog. It appears like at this time there are a handful of cascading stylesheet problems when opening a selection of webpages within google chrome as well as safari. It is operating alright in internet explorer. Possibly you can double check that.

  5. The structure for the blog is a tad off in Epiphany. Nevertheless I like your site. I may need to use a normal web browser just to enjoy it.
