Mata shailputri is the daughter of the Himalaya and our Vedas and Puran belived that Maa shailputri is rebirth of Maa  Sati,the daughter of Daksha and her name is Parvati(A form of Shakti ) and wife of Lord shiva. According to puran and devi puran Maa durga form is two-armed carries a trident and lotus. Her mount is the bull. This is one of the very first forms of Shakti and is closely associated with Lord Shiva.Shailputri is the one of goddess from nine goddess. Shailaputri is worshipped on the first day of Navaratri or Navdurga puja i.e. ashwin shukla pratipada , Navratri sthapna day.
Mantra of Maa Shailputri pooja : 
Vande Vaanchhita  laabhaya   ChandrardhavKritshekhraam !
Vrisharudhaam Shooldharaam Shaiputri Yashsvineem !!
