1.   Land or plot should be purchase after testing of soil and side.
2.   Land or plot’s slope should be in North-East side of plot.

3.   Land or plot should be square or ractangular shape because its better shape to
construct a house according to Vaastu shastra.
4.   Door of room should be in North-East or North or East portion of the house or room.
5.   Total number of the door and window should be in even number and should be count seperately.
6.   Door should be open inside of the room and house and made from wooden in two parts.
7.   The main entrance door should not face any type of obstacles like, big tree, pole, intersection of road,etc.
8.   There should be avoid to built a window on South-West side  of the building.
9.    Compound gate should be built in South-East side, North-East side, North-West side only.
10.  The bedroom should be built in South-West side of the house.
11.  Child room should be situated in Western part of the house, its better for child’s grouth.
12.  Bedroom for couple  should be built in Western or North part of the  house.
13.  Kitchen should be built in South-East side of the house, its very auspicious for family members.
14.  The sink or wash basin of the kitchen should be situated or buit in North-East side of the kitchen in the house.
15.  Pooja room or temple should be situated in North-East side of the house.
16.  Servant quarter should be built in North-West direction of the house.
17.  Well or Boring should be built in North-East side or East side of the house.
18.  Underground Water tank should be built in North-East side  or East side or North side in the plot.
19.  Overhead water tank should be built on South or South-West side of the plot. Its auspicious for residents.
20.  Number of piller or beams should be  in even number in the house.
21.  Generater and Main switch of the electric should be place in South-East side of the plot or house.
22.  Staircase or lift room should be built on South side , or West side , South-West side and in even number in counting  in the house, but staircase should not be built in north-East side in the house. Its not better for family members.
23. Basement or celler should not be build in the house,if it is very neccessary to built then you should be built in North or East side of the house and its size should not be more than half size of constructed area of the house.
24.  Attached bathroom should be on the North or East side of the bedroom,  and its commode or sheet’s  face should be either South or North side in the house.
25.  Height of the compound wall on the South and West side should be higher and thicker than North and East side of the plot.
26.  Compound wall on the South or West side can form part of a room or building,
while there should be a gap between the main building wall  and compound wall on North and East side of the plot.
27.  The setbacks on North side and East side should be more than the South side and West side of the plot.
