Ruby (Maanik)

Ruby is the stone of sun, and wearing of ruby will protect the native from harmful effects of sun’s afflictions. Ruby is in red color, yellow color, violet mixed red color and in rose color. A person who born date on 1,10,19,28 of all the months are dominated by number “1” and ruled by the Planet Sun (surya). Or person’s first letter of name is A, E, U, Y, BE, BO, JHA, JI, TE, TO, PA, PI : According to these letters the Star or Nakshtra is Kritika, Uttarashadha, Uttra Phalguni and ruling Planet is Sun or Surya. So that they can wear the Ruby, Garnet, Peridot, Golden topaz and amber then they will get success in their life. One would get favour from the government or get government job.

Method of Pooja for wearing Gem Stones :- The Ruby should be wear in the Ring of Copper or Gold on Sunday in precious muhurt or “Mars hora“ between 5 am to 6 am or 12 Noon to 1 pm.
Pooja :- First we should be collect necessary pooja articles like, The idol of Sun god, red silk cloth, wheat, dhoop sticks, lamp, yellow flowers, some sweats or Prasad. Then spread red silk cloth before God’s idol and put wheat on it. First wash with Ganga jal and panchamrit the ring with the stone set in it. Then apply Sandal powder and kumkum on it and place it on the red silk cloth. Now light up the lamp and dhoop stick, then perform pooja to the ring with yellow flowers reciting Sun (Surya) mantra. Offer sweats for Prasad or bhog and then perform Aarti of Surya dev. Now you should be recite the mantra 108 time of Surya dev and then wear the ring for better result in your life.
Mantra of Sun (Surya dev) :
Ashwa Dwajaaya vidhmahe,
Paasha Hasthaaya Dheemahi,
Tanno Surya Prachodayath.
