Katyayani – The Katyayani mata is the one of goddess out of nine goddess. In this form Maa katyayani durga is four-armed and carries a sword, shield and lotus in blessing 
posture by one hand riding on the lion. It is believed that in this form she was born as a daughter form to Sage Katya of Katya clan. She is form of love also won’t hesitate to rise up in anger. Katyayani form of Durga is worshipped on the sixth day of Navrathri or Navdurga puja i.e. ashwin shukla shasthi.
